Amelia Pond was devastated and a bit confused about everything that had just happened. The Doctor was gone, and she and Rory were leaving Demon's Run, but there was still so much to worry about. River was Melody. Melody was River. She supposed it should comfort her that her daughter grew up to be River Song, but it didn't. Not really. She knew that baby Melody was out there all alone and she was scared. She hoped her daughter would be brave and that the Doctor would find her and bring her home to her, but all of the uncertainty was almost too much to bear. She had been through so much lately, being kidnapped and kept here for months until Melody was born and then even after. She had a lot on her mind, and even Rory's words were no comfort to her now. She felt more lost than she ever had before and she prayed that the Doctor found her daughter and returned her soon. Looking at River, she could hardly believe the woman was her baby Melody all grown up.
